LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORTATION
Evaluate different transport jobs in one shared planning flow.
Plan transport tasks for different customers and delivery points together with vehicles, drivers and operational rules. Review task assignment, routes and planning results in one workspace.

CHALLENGES
The challenges of multi-customer transport
- 01
Matching pickups and deliveries
A load is collected at one point and dropped at another. Pickup and delivery must stay on the same vehicle and in the right order.
- 02
Driver rules and shifts
Missing driving-time limits, breaks or driver calendars creates both legal and operational risk.
- 03
Using the fleet efficiently
Sharing work across vehicles of different types and capacities raises the risk of empty kilometres and idle vehicles.
- 04
Visibility of trip costs
Pricing and decisions get harder when distance, time, waiting, overtime and toll costs are not visible separately.
HOW TRACKINIA HELPS
How Trackinia supports your transport plan
Pickup–delivery pairs
A shipment’s pickup and delivery are planned together. Both stay on the same route, and delivery never comes before pickup.
Driver and vehicle rules
Driving and duty-time limits, breaks, daily rest and vehicle and driver shifts are part of the calculation.
Driver assignment and handover
Assign drivers to routes, and hand an active route over to another driver with a recorded time and location when needed.
Route cost breakdown
See fixed, distance, driving-time, waiting, overtime and toll costs separately for every route.
EXAMPLE SCENARIO
Part loads for several customers
A transport company carries part loads for three customers on the same day. Each load is collected at a customer warehouse and dropped at a different delivery point, and drivers have limited daily driving time.
Illustrative example: this scenario shows how the product can be used. It is not a customer case or a measured result.
- 1
Each transport request is recorded as a shipment made of a pickup and a delivery, with its quantity and time windows.
- 2
Vehicle profiles hold capacities and driving and rest rules; drivers have working calendars.
- 3
The calculation distributes the work across vehicles while keeping pickups and deliveries on the same route and in order. Each route shows its cost breakdown.
- 4
If a driver must change during the day, the route is handed over to another driver with the handover time and location recorded.

Frequently asked questions
Can we plan transport with pickup and delivery at different points?
Yes. Pickup and delivery jobs are linked as one shipment, and the calculation plans both on the same route with the pickup first.
Are driver driving and rest times considered?
Yes. Driving and duty-time limits, breaks and daily rest defined in the vehicle profile are added to the plan and shown on the timeline.
Can we hand a route over to another driver mid-trip?
Yes. An active or paused route can be handed over to another driver at a recorded time and location. Each driver’s period stays in the route history.
Are toll costs included?
The route cost breakdown includes toll cost as a separate item. The estimate depends on the toll class settings in the vehicle profile.
